Hallo to all, since i found this forum some time ago, i had no reason to post something because all my questions, had already been answered.
But now after seeing some very nice custom Delta Elite on this site and playing with the idea, of getting one myself; can someone tell me if the
Delta Elite "First Edition" is a useable base gun for a custom job?

I would look for a stock Delta Elite. The 1st Edition is going to cost you a premium from a collector's standpoint and that collectibility will be ruined (from a Colt Collector's POV anyway) when you have it customized. The link didn't work so I don't know what the asking price is but I haven't seen a "First Edition" for less than a grand. You should be able to grab a nice used Delta Elite for between $600-$800
