Last week I received back from Ted my pre series 70 Commander. I asked him to install his retro rear sight w/trijicon front post, stipple the frontstrap, check over for reliability, dehorn for carry, replace the damaged plunger tube and refinish.

Since I already have 3 1911's he has either built and/or customized for me, I knew what I'd be getting back. But I'm still in awe of the quality of his work everytime I see it. I asked him to lightly customize my Commander for carry, and he sends me back a work of art that is almost too good looking to put in a holster. And the best part....Ted got it back in my hands one month sooner then the timeframe he quoted me :D

Thanks again Ted for the great job.

Russ

Thanks go to Ray on this one, Russ.

His first big project here was to help me wade through a stack of LW's. He's largely resposible for the finish work.

An apt pupil, indeed....

Glad you're pleased!

Russ,

I'm glad you like the pistol. It has been fun doing this last group of LW Commanders. (More are still in the works.)

Ted is a VERY GOOD teacher.

Best,

Ray

If it was one of the LW's I saw it would have made anyone happy. Congrats to Ray it is nice to have him in the shop.
