Just got the wife's present picked up from Mr. Garthwaite. Nothing too fancy but the little details are what it's all about.

Thanks for the welcome. He is a super gentleman to do business with for sure. It is the blued pistol in center of the pic which was taken prior to it's rehabilitation.

Jim is a good guy to work with and an ace pistolsmith.
he has earned his stripes!

His guns look classic and run great. One day I will snap some decent pics of my Garthwaite guns and play show and tell.

Jims prices are fair and his work is completed in a timely fashion, usually ahead of schedule. I would guess he is about 6-12 months on a full house gun.

Every part is somehow refined. I find new "little" things all the time when cleaning my guns.
His bluing is to die for, also.
