I wanted to share these as soon as Hakan sent me the photos. They are going on a Commander that recently got a fresh paint job and new Heinie sights from Virgil Tripp.

I really like Hakan's unique design work and texture. They have a good solid feel that sits and grips in your hand without being uncomfortable or too aggressive. A different take on my favorite part of a pistol. A nice piece of wood is the icing on the cake. They'll add an international flair to my American classic.

That's cetainly different!
It looks to me like "reversed stippling"; with little bumps sticking up, rather than in. Is that how it is, or am I seeing it wrong?

Nothing is higher then the smooth part of the grip panel if that's what you're asking. Not certain how best to describe it either.

Great looking grips. I love his work, and am in contact with Hakan currently regarding a set of Arizona Desert Ironwood grips.
