Not that often anymore that you meet someone who thoroughly enjoys what they do for thirty years. Not to mention a Deputy Sheriff. Alot of times Deputies are asked to do more with less than maybe a city officer. Not a knock on the city guys it's just a that some of the rural areas Deputies patrol create backup times as long as forty five minutes. Long time to have the ebee geebees. Chip you lasted thiry years Sir! From the crew at Yost-Bonitz Custom, Congratulations and something you don't hear very often Thank You, you can go 10-7 with pride. Enjoy your new gun, I know Ray enjoyed building it for you.

The 1* Elite package.

Outstanding pistol, gentlemen, and thank you for your service, Mr. Brezee. Enjoy your retirement, and try to spend as much time as possible at the range with that beautiful 45.

God Bless you and yours,

Steve, Ray, Ted and any others I don't know about-

I do not have the words to say how I feel at this particular moment.
Thanks is surely not enough to convey my appreciation and gratitude for this pistol.

I am honored and humbled to have been able to do this job for as long as it has been. The Lord blessed me on occasions too numerous to mention.

THANKS GENTLEMEN!!!! for all that you do and are doing for me and others. You can be asured that I will be proud to own this pistol (and to show it off) and I'm proud to be able to hang out here.

And thanks for the nice comments guys!

P.S. - Steve, the title of this thread really jumped out at me. I thought you were going to post a picture of a "bone and salve"! :D :D :D You got me Brother, you got me. Thanks.

Is the MSH grooved like the frontstrap? If it is, who manufacture's it? Got a pic?

CofC-

Yes it is. It is Ted's MSH w/lanyard loop design. I asked for front strap serrations to match the MSH. The pic is at the website on the "1*" package. Take a good look at the package details, I think it is one of the best values around. Mine has a few additions to the basic package AND it was finished ahead of schedule AND they are really nice guys.

It arrived today. Magnificent! It is absolutely gorgeous and the fit and function of all the controls and pieces/parts are perfect. I fully expected this to turn out to be a very, very nice pistol when I sent it to Ted, and it goes way beyond exceeding my expectations. Thanks again, Ray. Would have shot it today but work got in the way. Hopefully I'll get to the range in the next day or two.

Now, gotta go and clean all of the drool off of it (mine & others :) )

Gentlemen,

I got to see this gun yesterday. It doesn't quite look the same anymore, as Chip has obviously never put it down since he got it in his paws. It is a very sleek, simple, and functional 1911. I was telling Chip that I's never really liked frontstraps serrations except on a gun that was going to be carried a lot, and his Yo-Bo fit the bill very nicely. On top of all that, Chip is a pretty good fella... for a cop. HA! Just kidding, Chip (and every other LEO on the forum). I feel much safer knowing guys like that are watching over me and mine 24/7.

Thanks Jim.

I appreciate all the time you and Dave spent with us yesterday. I am very impressed with Dave and his work. I think my old brain now comprehends what the term "hard fitting a barrel" means. And besides, any 'smith with a Jack Russell and a yellow tabby in his shop has got to be a good guy :D Sorry you didn't get to go to Inwood with us for lunch. One of the gorgeous daughters (and unattached, I believe) was working. Food was good, too.

'Til next time-

Chip

Chip

Congrats on the retirement. I know the feeling or at least I hope I earn the same feeling ending my second career as I did the first.

You earned every all that goes with it.

On the gun. WOW. Beautiful and well as functional. Style with Substance.

Again. Congrats and what a nice way to say thanks

Sweet shooter there.

And it's nice to see you guys at Y-B aren't slacking off while I'm waiting for mine... :P

Thanks Terry. I hope the daytime job is not keeping you too busy. Heavy caseloads are a bummer.

Sean, where you been, man? You're not back messing around with them big ol'heavy things that go clank in the night, are you?

Sean

Those guys at Y-B are definitely not slacking off. I got one in for a client built on one of the Colt WWII repros. 1* plus and then some. From the client who ordered it. It was worth the wait and what a nice surprise for Christmas.

Witherspoon.

If by clank in the night, you mean the 18 wheeler's, Yup, Towing anywhere between 3 to 7 week for you can guess. The pound dreads me. One cannot even imagine how much goes on in that little circle.

That is one line of work that will never run out of customer's although they are nowhere near as happy as the others in my part time line of work.

Again, best in your new endevors what ever they may be.

Terry
