Steve!!!

Those pistolas are just fantasticly gorgeous!

They have a real classic elegance to them. You can tell a TON of work and sweat went into them. Great job, buddy! :D :D

Thanks Stan, coming from you that is huge. It was great talking to you today. Looking forward to Vegas. As we talked about, is Tim gonna ride all the way to Vegas or is he one of those "Yuppie Bikers" that trailers his bike until he gets where he is going? sh$t, did I say that out loud? Easy Tim, get that blood pressure down. :P

Thanks for all the nice comments. The real credit on these goes to Ted's ability to teach. I have said several times. I am a chimp, emulating what Ted does. Certainly some things have gotten easier, however, Ted's patience to a degree knows no bounds. He has four "baby birds" he has to feed these days. Working on guns is therapy for me. The real fun in building is making somebody happy by creating something close that they had pictured for their gun.
Steve,

I have a few idea's that will give you a bunch of therapy and make me very happy.

All I lack is a gun and a bank account!!

Gary

I sure wish I could be one of Ted's chimps. Throw me a bannana and a .45 to build under Ted's guidance and I'd be a happy camper. Seriously great job Steve, I hope to be 2/3s as good as you some day.

Steve, Now that you've mastered the art of pistolsmithing, would you like to learn how to make holsters?
Get on a plane, and get your ass to Buffalo.. Our first order of business will be Lew's thong. Then we'll get to John's, and Ned's, then we can start on learning how to make holsters.
Deal?
Luigi

By the way, those guns are absolutely stunning.. Jason is lucky guy!

Very nice work indeed, would be an upgrade to any serious shooters collection!

Jason, do you ever go the WAC shows? Would love to see them up-close and do some drooling

Cheers,
Ty

Thanks Maddock, glad you registered. Feel free to stop in the shop in the next couple weeks before they get shipped out. I see you are in Phx, so come on by.

A strange metamotphosis took place today. After owning and shooting a Baer TRS I thought I could never go back to a Kimber, Springfield, Colt etc . stock 1911. I thought for sure that it could never get any better than the TRS at any price. Well after fondling Jason's new Bailey Colt 1911's, I'm starting to have those Ill feeling's of inferiority towards the TRS. The old line of "the pictures dont do these pistols justice" is ringing loudly in my ears. These 2 are the Shiznet, Congrats to all involved.
