Here are some pictures of a Series 70 Colt that I did a light custom job to several years back. It got BoMars, a dovetail front, an S&A beavertail, trigger & ignition work and reliability tuning. Years rolled on, the ownership changed hands and the second owner brought it back for some more touches of his own. This time through we added a gold bead to the front sight, beveled mag well, a countersunk muzzle crown, an S&A beavertail with a pad, a EGW safety, flat MSH with RoundButt, 20 lpi serrations on the front strap, walnut stocks and a refinish with IonBond on top and S/S on the bottom. I wish I'd taken pics of the first go around, but here are some of the second trip through. Enjoy!

Really looks great. Got to see one of your Custom Kimbers in a gun store in Gainesville, GA recently. The store owner was awed at the smothness, as I was with the overall appearance. Two other shoppers in the store as well as myself got to droollllll. Keep up the great work guys.

With that finish, frame, and "upgrades" you shouldn't see that one again for quite a while. Sweet work

I knew that gun well prior to its latest round of upgrades. It morphed from a very nice gun into a fabulous pistol. Wow ... what a transformation!

Beautiful work as always John... probably a stupid question, but how do you 'time' the grip screw slots to perfectly align? I always wondered how you guys pulled that off on these fine full house guns :-)

Did you let this one slip away sir?

This is a classy transformation. Love the two tone.
