Excellent looking pistol!
I have been tempted to get a pistol in that caliber-the ballistics sound very appealing for the type of shooting I do.

Any problems with the slide locking open after the last round is fired? I have a 9x23 and my Wilson mags feed perfectly, but fail to keep the slide open after the last round. Any ideas? Thanks.

I am not an expert 1911 problem solver, and have never played one on TV. But failure to lock back at the end of a a string could be weak magazine springs which are a known foible with Wilson magazines.

Sorry I haven't been back here in awhile,

as for the slide not locking back on the last round, it could be a couple of things.

In a 9x23 the recoil spring rate becomes a factor and spring bind is greatly increased. I don't have a stop motion camera so I can't say for sure, but sometime when the recoil spring binds it can cause a failure to lock open as well as stove pipes etc.

I would suggest if your using a 19lbs mainspring you bump it back up to 23lbs, this will help control locking time and slow the slide speed.

Good luck, sorry I am a month late!
