First let me say the quality of work here is outstanding... a round of applause for the gunsmiths here.

Now to my question- We see and hear all the time of gunsmiths that come out of one or two of the schools Trinidad and Colorado School of Trades. Guys like D'Arcy Echols, Dave Miller, Les Brooks ect.

Well those guys seem to be primarily riflesmiths- who are the guys coming out of these schools that are pistolsmiths - particularly 1911 guys. "Name" guys ?

If you are from these schools what are your overall impressions of the school from a 1911-smith perspective?
