I think the concept is good but the availability or ammo and pistols chambered for it will eventually kill it off in my opinion. I know Nighthawk offers a couple of their pistols chambered in it and have heard good reports from various "sponsored" shooters I think they really missed the boat by not offering their Counselor chambered in it, possibly a 12-13 round OACP size pistol that shoots amazing in 9MM. While it might be easy to drop money on something offered from S&W in 30SC, I'm not sure I would want to drop Nighthawk price money on something that might fizzle out. At the end of the day I feel its a answer to a question that wasnt asked.

To take full use of the cartridge really requires a new platform. Make a less-fat than double stack 9mm frame, and double stack the .30, and get something like a Hellcat with 20 rounds in it, and you'd be on to something.

Otherwise, its the same thing as taking a double stack .456 magazine, and altering the magazine to fit 9mm. It is fatter than it needs to be. That worked for STI back in the 1990s, but today that's a handicap.
