I really love that gun! Steve Bailey and I have concocted a term for guns like yours - - "Elegant in Simplicity." Your gun has it in spades. It has everything you need and nothing you don't all executed in a very aesthetically pleasing package.

John,
Thanks. You should see or feel how it shoots. The action is silky smooth, accuracy is unbelievable even with the simple King's rear sight and Novak front post. The reliability is perfect.

I don't know what factory the thumb safety came out of, but Ken Hackathorn reshaped it to the way it looks. It looks like he used King's.

Guess maybe I should have read the caption under the picture.
Do you know if he sells those or it is something just through Larry?

Jake:
Those safeties were experimental and only a small batch were made. They were used for testing and evaluation, given out as samples, etc. I don't believe there are many left. I'm sure a 'smith can take a King's extended safety and shorten and contour it to similar shape.

Thanks for the info

I am in the process of collecting ideas for a gun and I really like the look of that safety, simple and just enough of what you need.

Damn fine loking gun. Takes you back. Kinda like looking at a stock sled with a little something extra under the hood.

Very, very cool concept.

Pictures don't seem to work anymore. :?

I'm having Ted make me a gun with quite a few similarities to that one.
