Nice crown on the barrel. How do you like working with the Paras? I don't have any experience with them at all. However, Ted has mentioned his displeasure from time to time working with these guns. Looks like it doesn't bother you...nice work. 8)

I too am not a huge fan of the Para, simply from a smithing point of view. However, this pistol is very tastefully done! :D I like it! The stippling and blending lends it a sophisticated look!

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Steve,

I dont have much love for Paras either especially the LDA's I wouldnt touch one of them with Yosts file and blame it Chuck Rodgers :D
I have to say theres never a dull moment when your trying to work on one. These are the problems I ran into while building this one. There was a hairline crack in the locking lugs of the slide, hammer pin hole drilled off center, rear frame tangs had alot of side to side wobble room. The ejector frame holes were off the factory ejector had been forced in place . The disconnector hole had very rough tool marks. It was without a doubt the sharpest frame i have ever handled it was a razor blade with a triggerguard. Thats all I can remember for now the rest has been blocked from memory to retain my sanity  Nothing so bad that it couldnt be overcome but did make things interesting at times. Glad my next one is a Colt
