I'd like to ask for some advice. I have the chance to buy a Sistema Colt. It's in pretty fair shape, (needs a new barrel, pitting on the slide, possibly some trigger work). My question is this a good base for a project gun or should I just keep it stock and buy a newer base gun?

At less than $600 for a NRM 1991A1 Colt, how could you go wrong?
