Both are 4" bull barrel setups. According to Wolff they use different springs. According to Wilson Combat they use the same. Who is right? I just bought a Kimber Compact CDP 4" and I have 8 Wilson Combat SC22 springs, labeled as SA Compact springs but the website says they will work for all 4" 1911's. Are they alright to use?

I don't know all the details as to why there is a difference, but I think it's only been in the past year that Wolff started offering Kimber Compact-specific recoil springs. Before that, they catalogged the same springs for the Kimber Compact and the SA.
