I'm new here guys and have a Browning HP that I want to customize and need some ideas. I know I will be putting Novak sights on it and want to put one of the safties I've seen that I think are either Novaks or C&S. I also want to high polish the slide flats & matte the rest and go with some nice Coco Bolla Spegels.
Has anyone got some pictures or suggestions?

Go to Ted Yost's site... see the SRT package, send your gun and order the SRT package...wait... get BHP with Yost SRT...live happily ever after!

Seriously Ted buids a great HP (I have one), and from what I hear so does Don Williams. I think Ted has the best thumb safety going for HPs. There are lots of builders and options.

Good luck

Yes, shark skin is Ted's style of stippling, it is grippy but does not snag on clothing, and is easy on the hands. I'd bet you'll like it, everyone who shoots my HP loves it.

The BHP pictured below is the original pistol that inspired the SRT package. This masterpiece in steel has a BarSto barrel fitted, Spegel Delrin grips, Novak's 1911 rear sight, and hard chrome finish by Tripp. Ted has built numerous pistols for me over the years, starting back when he was a young cub working his magic at the Smithy at Gunsite, and I keep coming back for more. For what it's worth, I trust my life to a Yost custom pistol, and I can't give him a higher endorsement. Best regards, SRT
