What fits these frames without welding. It came from SA with the b/t all gouged up.I don't want to pay to ship it back to fix their screw up.
What are the options.Or can you reccommend somebody to weld up stainless frame and fit Ed Brown.

The Smith & Alexander with a .220" radius is your best bet. If you go with a .250" radius it will be hit or miss as to the fit. Most of the 'smiths here could do a weld & re-fit. Chuck Rogers comes to mind as one that I have seen weld tangs and fit a new BT. EGW is known for welding too.

Here's a thought though, if the beavertail is just gouged up what about fixing the gouges and bead blasting? How bad are the gouges? Seems like that would be the cheapest and fastest alternative unless you really want a different beavertail.

Just out of curiosity, does Springfield use S&A beavertails or do they make their own?

The parts look so similar, you'd think they were the same, but a buddy of mine tried to put a S&A on his Springer, which was already cut for their beavertail, and the they did not closely match.

SA won't pick up the tab to return the pistol for a warranty issue?

That's not up to what I usually hear about their service.
