Here are a couple of BHP's that recently went through the Yost-Bonitz shop...

The top one in the first photo is a Browning MkIII pistol that got the YoBo SRT package with a few extras incl. a C&S no-bite ring hammer, polished flats, and Spegel grips. It came back to me just last month.

The bottom one in the first photo is an FN marked gun that was one of the Israeli security forces trade-in's imported and sold by AIM for $275 a few years ago. This pistol was in excellent mechanical condition, but the paint over parked finish looked like crap. Ray Harms of YoBo, did a nice trigger job / removing the mag safety, custom extended thumb safety, light dehorn, replaced factory ring hammer with a bobbed spur, refinished in matte blue, and Nill grips from MacTec of course! This one came back home in Sept. 05.

Both function flawlessly and are a joy to shoot.

My first love. There is something about Hi-Powers that does it for me. I had a really nice looking 61 Beunos Aries trade-in customized by Novak. Sadly the slide was poorly heat treated and the lugs peened very badly. A day doesn't go buy that I don't miss that gun. When I sent that gun off to a better place I promised myself I would buy a new one and have it done right.

Gents,
I have always had a soft spot for a nice BHP...it was the first pistol I ever purchased almost twenty years ago....

Very nice blasters!
