About the only things original on this .45 are the frame and slide! Most of the internal parts are USGI including the recoil spring, spring guide and cap... The MSH is Colt Series 70, the trigger is a modified 1911, etc..... I have run over 2,000 rounds of various types through it with zero malfunctions. The main thing I like is the external extractor. The Colt style extractor has always, in my opinion, the weakest part in the 1911.

I wonder if S&W is going to produce the SW1911 in a blued model? I would like to see one with blue over a sandblasted frame and slide..
