I recently found this HP with the intent of having it built up. Little did I know how much I would enjoy shooting it!

Mark, Beware, they're as habit forming as 1911's! :)

Hmmmmm... Novak's... Spiegel's... light stippling... yep, that's how it all gets started! I can feel a new Yost Hi Power coming on!

Ted builds a killer High Power, he isn't just da 1911 man, he's also the BHP man! This BHP that Ted built has the best trigger I have ever felt in a BHP. It breaks clean at 4lbs, feels just like a highly tuned 1911 trigger, no easy feat. Then there's all the aesthetics; everything perfectly executed.

For some reason the picture isn't showing up, here's the link for it

I have heard that Don Williams builds killer High Powers too. This comes from a guy who owns a Garthwaite, Heine, Novak, and Craig Weinstein custom BHPs. If I ever come across another Belgium made BHP, I am going to have to send it to Don Williams.Image

Hello. Yes, they are very good guns. I even like the caliber. They have their own aura, at least to me. At the same time, the 1911 has a unique panache about it. These two pistols meet all my needs, real or imaginary, if pressed.

Best.

PS: Thanks madman, for the invite to this new and really nice site.
