Mike build's some really nice 1911's. Although I have'nt owned one, I've had the opportunity to fondle a few. I've seen a couple of his pistol's at Adventure Sports in Lynnwood Wa. From what I've seen lately, I'd have to say he is the Premier builder of the Northwest. Well I guess Mark Morris is in the Northwest also.

Very nicely detailed gun.

I kinda like the "BHP" cuts on the front end.

Nicely done. I'm a big fan of the flush / recessed crown.

Thank's for the compliments - I enjoy the project now looking at the pictures more than I did sweating some of the details like recieveing a correct slide from Colt. I didnt realize anybody from the Northwest knew I was out there. I like to spend the time on the details inside and out like a craftsmen from the days of old , my old machine shop teacher said once "O'Hara if it looks good on the outside it might be good if looks good inside and out it is good now try harder"! . I would like to thank Chuck Rogers for all his help and common sense therapy I recieve from him when I get in a jam . Thanks again Mike O'Hara O'Hara Custom Guns

Oustanding. The obvious attention to detail makes for a very clean gun.

Very nice. Nothing beats a custom colt .45. Looks like great attention to detail. I don’t get over to that side of our state much but if I ever do I would like to hold one of your customs. Pics are always great but nothing beats fondling great custom work…….

Super work all the way around. I like the mod to the front of the slide especially, neat idea! What kind of bushing is that, I like the raised center.

The bushing is a modified Kings and flows nice with the crown . The pistol turned out different from the avarage and that was the goal . Thank's for all positve feed back . Mike

Very nice. I love the detail Mike Just wondering what are you asking for the blaster ? I have always wanted a custom 1911. Is it stainless or hard chromed ?

I love the arched MSH. I have always shot well with it. I am surprised to see it so rarely. I think it feels great and looks great.
