I just finished this one too and thought I would share it as well.

It sports a Kart Barrel and Bushing, Bomar Sights, 30LPI checkering, 2 fitted extractors, extended mag release, Ed Brown slide stop, rear serrations, 30LPI mainspring housing, action job, tactical single sided thumb safety, Grieder trigger, thin grips, Cylinder and Slide hammer and sear, and an Ed Brown grip safety.

I bead blasted the pistol and polished out the flats with a nice 500 grit polish. The (not so funny) thing about this pistol is, it was bought from a guy getting a divorce and his soon to be ex wife threw it at him and it had bounced off the asphalt a few times. I got the dings, dents, and pits out of the pistol without compromising the rollmarks and the stamps.

Thanks for looking.

Nice save! I have always loved 38 Super. My first carry gun (30+ years ago) was a 38S Combat Commander. Still have it, never gonna let it go!

I wish I had taken a “before” picture. I appreciate the polish job more and more knowing the size of the pits Bob had to remove. Fortunately, the old barrel bushing and grips took the brunt of the damage.

The gun functioned flawless yesterday at a steel plate match.

Thanks again Bob.

Nice lookin' Super, Bob! Can not even tell it took a trip across the pavement, htat must've been a lot of hard work. I like the arc on the bottom of the thumb safety where it follows the lines of the frame :D
