Originally built this one 3 or 4 years ago.
It came back to me for a Kart match barrel, adjustable rear sight and hardchroming.
Front strap checkering by Pete Single.
Hardchrome by Tripp Research.

Simply beautiful Chuck. As I have said many times, your machine work is superb. The guns you build are certainly recognizable. Awesome photos.

Well, what to say about the gun-- your usual great stuff, Sir Charles of Slabsides. The pics though.... you been going to photography night school? Exellent all around.

Randy,
It's Krylon 'khaki' flat spray paint. Less than $3 a can!
Kind of a 'tradition' with my buds, to spray down our long guns.
As it wears off, exposing the black underneath, it looks even better.
Goofy, huh?

Chuck, I have always loved your work! The no-nonsense approach, coupled with perfect execution. I have one of your basic pistols I bought from a guy that was getting out of 1911s. He said it was the hardest choice he ever made to get rid of the Rogers Precision gun, but he was committed to the Glock platform. It is one of my favorite guns; everything it needs and nothing it doesnt. Simply beautiful in its simplicity and its profund relaibility. 2005 or 2006 ought to be a good year for me as I shoud be getting two Rogers guns.

Chuck

I guess i am goofy to i used the same krylon stuff on my sniper rig. I used O.D. green as a base with brown and khaki for the enviroment around here. Its been on there for a couple years now and like you said looks better with a little black wearing thru. Its good to know I am not the only one spray painting rifles :D
