I ordered a 1* and happy I did. I wanted a pistol that would be a good representation of the new and the old, so I ordered a 1* and had it hard chromed, 30 LPI serrations on the front strap, and night sight. I left the old grip safety and spur hammer as I wanted it to look like the pistol I carried when I was in the military (a M1911A1 Remington Rand). I have a couple of RRs in my collection but don't shoot them much anymore as U.S.G.I parts are getting hard to find and a 1942 Rem Rand is getting into the couple thousands dollars range (they only made a few in 1942 and they used the Singer machines to manufacture, so they have more value than a 1945 RR).

Anyway back to the 1*, the work is right on, it shot nice tight groups, didn't stumble on any of the ammo I ran through it. Tomorrow night I will use it as one of my entries in the steel competition.

I used one of the targets as a back drop for the images below.

Lew/Ted: Thanks for making it such a pleasure to get a custom at such a great price. Keep up the great work and customer support. It will bring me back!

Colton: Very nice work, thanks!

Enjoy the images. Cheers - Ty

Nice blaster. I like the hard chrome. It's a nice touch.

Thanks for sharing!

Glad you like the pistol. Colton Bagnoli shows great promise. He deeply cares about his work, and takes a keen interest in any feedback he receives.

In our business, we find that we have to kiss a few frogs before we can find the princes - Colton's a keeper.
