I know thisis not a real Custom Gun question, but I was wondering if anyone had the serial number series where Kimber had all the issues with the external extractor. I understand they have since done them right.

I want to pick one up to hold me over till I get a new work gun done up. (thought I wasnt going to be carrying a SA anymore, so I sent most all of my SA guns and gear to new homes, but lo and behold...) The ones I kept are to valuable to use on the job.

Any info will be helpful.

I haven't kept up on the Kimbers at all. Ned might have an idea. He has pretty much taken care of the shortcomings on the ext. extractor issue Kimber was having.
