This is an old project that I finally got finished and back from the re-finisher. All in all, its a very basic build; this is one of those ones that came in just for a trigger job and slight magwell modification to work with a specific mag brand. Through talking to the customer it snowballed into a more involved project.
It started as a Springfield Loaded model, we ended up replacing the slide with a standard Springfield A1 slide as the original slide was very crooked and the owner didn't really want the front cocking serrations anyway. We worked with a few of the factory parts, some that the customer supplied like the grips and magwell; but basically everything in the gun was replaced with barstock parts. Frontstrap checkering by Pete Single, blended magwell, welded frame tangs and refitted grip safety, slide to frame fit, Nowlin barrel, and a bunch of other things... The finish is Melonite.
