This is a pistol I built for a client on the east coast, will be showing up at some matches later this year.

Fun gun to shoot and turned out well,

Wilson 45 acp barrel and bushing
Caspian frame and slide
Wilson fire controls
10-8 flat trigger
Wilson G/S
Wilson ambi safety
all good tool steel parts! etc..

Ball end mill cuts
french boarder
high power cuts to match 15 degree slanted Caspian serrations
High cut front strap
20 lines hand checkering
Dawson Ice magwell at customer request
2.5lbs trigger pull
Chevron pattern flat top serrations
bobbed slide stop cross pin
Marvel disconnect cut

Range report

500 round test fire with no malfunctions

5 shot group @ 25 yards using a ransom rest

.583 Center to center/ using Chen 230gr NM RDN (good stuff I might add!)

all in all, shoots well and should get the job done! thanks everyone and your feedback is always welcome!

Very Nice looking firearm. I really like the color scheme. I would like to have something just like this when I am shooting IDPA.

Anthony when I looked at that masterpiece the only thing that came to mind was the Cross Canadian Ragweed sone about "them boy's from Oklahoma" and how they roll in this case, their pistols all wrong. Well if the song went that way it would not be true, that pistol was truly rolled just right IMHO, while I could do without the flat trigger it adds to that pistol.

Thanks for all the kind words folks, as for rolling my joints all wrong, I would rather do that wrong, than the pistol haha.

I personally really dont like the look of the Dawson mag-well myself, but it's not my gun, so if the customer needs it too be successful than so be it!

thanks again guys!

have fun,

A

Customer's range report!

Anthony,

This gun is absolutely incredible. 200 rds today, no problems whatsoever. It tracks very well in recoil and really sits down in my hand. The undercut you did on the trigger guard feels perfect.

The front sight is narrower than I'm used to so my groups aren't quite as tight. But it really pays off shooting it at speed because I can see some much more.

I've got a couple of monthly matches coming up and I'm anxious to put it though its paces. My wife was cleaning plate racks with it at 25 yds.

Talk to you soon, GB

Match report,

Thought I would share GB's good work,

Hey man, saw your text earlier. I was doing some loading and forgot to get back to you. Match went well. I won CDP in the first two matches and was 2nd in the 3rd one. Gun ran great, no problems whatsoever. Everyone I 've let check it out is suitably impressed. ITI put out a press release on Facebook and I mentioned you so check that out. They do a good job in the public relations department so hopefully this will raise your profile.

Have a good Thanksgiving and I 'll talk to you soon, GB.
