Life for this Colt started as a factory Delta Elite. The slide got new sights, a 10-8 in the rear and a Tritium red surround sight up front. Ball cuts and high power cuts too. The Colt barrel was fit with an EGW thick flange bushing and a deep cut plug to match. The frame was checkered at 30 lpi by "Metalsmith" I fit the frame with a new Ed Brown high rise beavertail and a Kimber ambi thumb safety. The slide stop was beveled and countersunk. The grips are made from solid carbon fiber by good friend "Cap" in Ohio. I inlaid the Colt Delta isignia into the grips. The knife was hand made by Mike Spangler of Massachusetts and fit with matching carbon fiber for the handle. A thin strip of red on the knife matches the Delta insignia. The knife was treated in "Hamon" style.
