Colton Bagnoli our youngest and brightest pistolsmith has done another outstanding gun. In some recent conversations with Roy Huntington the Editor of American Handgunner the idea of a prize gun came up. Ted volunteered Colton and he went to work. As this gun came together I kept an eye on it.

For alot of good reasons this is a beautiful and well executed gun. It shot perfectly and will make the winner very happy. In the recent AH this gun is offered as the "giveaway gun". Congrats Colton, keep yer pants on! (shop joke). Only wish we would have had more time to take some photos before it left the shop for the good guys at AH to snap it.

Only one photo, but it was a very nice gun.
The specs the best I can remember.

Wilson BT grip safety
YoBo Professional Grade sights
YoBo Match Grade Trigger
Black Micarta VZ stocks
Serrated front and back
Match fit bushing
YoBo action components
Beautiful bead blasted blueing
Hand beveled mag well
Carry bevel
Factory barrel recrowned.
And some other fine details

Colton, Congratulations. That's one issue that you buy a couple of copies and hang on to them for posterity - first time your works' in a national mag. Good Job!

I see that the boards newest member is one Colton Bagnoli. It is nice to know that you guys unchained him from his work bench so he could come out and play. :D

Ya know, I don't usually enter contests. I think I've entered their monthly drawing only one other time, in about 1981 or 82.
But if they're gonna dangle a Y-B 1911 in front of me, I'm looking for a postcard!

Besides, the Operator talks to me. And it told me it was lonely.
