Well, got back from our semi annual trip to AZ and pick up a grail for myself. 1951 Year build S&W 45ACP Revolver. You will never guess who did the work. Hmmmm. And the gun is incredible. I want one that was build like a 27-2 with the pencil style barrel. Three and 1/2" all the roll marks redone. The S&W collectors will empty that bottle when they see the base gun. Five Screw Pre-26 Target. The action is so smooth and it really is a keeper. Cannot say when I will see another one but I know there will be probably 2022. More pictures to follow later.

And how is Ted these days?

You did a pre-model number gun? Oh, the collectors will hang you in effigy, they will.

As far as "Collector's" go. You have to see what is next in line.

Revolvers don't make my heart race usually, but when it's an N-Frame with a short barrel and fixed sights, and large caliber, I do rather dig that.
