I am 50-50 right now. I want to do it but I have to see how busy I am work wise leading up to the match. I won't fly all the way out to Barry Il just to shoot a match. If I am going to spend the money than I want to be shooting my best. I won't win anything but I will still shoot my match.

As of right now I am planning on shooting it next year. I am considering get a SA milspec and having some basic stuff done to it, trigger etc to shoot the match, or just use my Nowlin.

I'm planning to and hoping to get enough LTW 'smiths and members to go, to make a squad. Last year, Ned, Jason and I went and all had a great time. Next year, we'd like to come back and have better finishes.

Sorry, but I have to ask a stupid question...
When is the 2007 SSC being held?

There is no date set as of right now, but usually the Single Stack is a spring match.

The dates are not quite set yet, but if tradition holds it will be the end of April (26th - 30th???). Of course there is still the USPSA to factor into the calendar. Disucssion have been ongoing about adding a day to the match and increasing the number of shooters to about 300. If it follows like last year, Saturday will fill up within two weeks of registration opening.

I think it would be a cool idea to have the LTW squad. Since I do the squadding I think we might be able to work something out. Squads last year were limited to 11 shooters, I suspect we may increase that and the number of stages, but that is not really up to me.

John
have you thought about a LTW Single Stack package gun built off a MilSpec SA?

I would certainly like to, not having shot it before. I've shot three of the four Western States matches, six or seven of the ten Oregon matches, so it's time to shoot the gran'daddy of 'em all.

Mr. Davis, that'd be great. Several of us have been talking about an LTW squad, and I've been maintaining a list-- we could maybe use your help in making it happen, although I don't see any big problem in us doing it through normal channels as long as we all get our money in together (oops, what am I saying, that is alwaysa problem!).

Guys, let's start coordinating. I have a list I'll dig out tomorrow, not necessarily all LTW 'smiths, but some customers and supporters as well.

All you need to do is register, and I know that you've done that the last several years, it is helpful if you all do that togther. If not, as long as the days are not at capacity, I can usually accomplish it. However, it would seem one favor may deserve another.

Saturday is now more than half full, we anticipate it will be filled by the end of January. I can no longer hold squad requests without having an paid application in my hand, sorry.

Saturday is no full (as of 1/25) and Friday is more than half full with the promise of many applications to come in the mail soon  If this all holds true I anticipate that the match will be sold out before the end of the February. That tells you about the quality of this match.

I have 14 spots left for Friday and then the entire match is full.
