Hey Todd, I know that Novak's did a few custom jobs on those frames. They came out pretty well from what I saw, but I am partial to SVI or STI frames for hi cap 1911 guns.

P.S. Let me know when you have another Jim Hogue's guns for sale, I wish I wouldnt have passed on the hipower all those years ago. I would like one of his 1911's though.

I had one of thier frames that I had Virgil Tripp do a little work on and make into a complete pistol. It used P-14 mags and was a pretty good shooter. I traded it off for who-knows-what awhile ago.

I have one that was made into a wonderfuil shooting 38 supercomp
By Caylor Custom Guns...

after all was said and done there was several little problems that
he ran into with the frame and the dimensions..
but he turned out a Jewel of a gun ...
