Here are some pics of a recently completed project built for use as a night stand based home defense pistol. It's built on a Springfield Operator frame and a Caspian slide. The custom list is as follows:

Yost-Bonitz Pro Grade front & rear sights
Gold bead front blade, serrated 50 lpi
Slide flat topped and serrated in a bordered arrow pattern
Slide bordered & beveled -w- ball cuts & lowered & fluted ejection port
Kart 6" barrel threaded for suppressor
H-D logo bushing & plug set
Custom machined cocking serrations
Serrated rear of slide to 50 lpi
Wilson Bullet Proof extractor -w- spare fitted & serrated to match
EGW oversize firing pin stop
Yo-Bo iginition set
Ed Brown ambi & beavertail
S&A mag well hand checkered to 25 lpi & side beveled
Recessed lanyard attachment point
Front strap cut for high grip, machine cut/hand finished 25 lpi checkering
Hogue Kingwood grips
Finished in CobraCoat by Tripp Research

Every time I see one of your completed projects it just makes me happy knowing my names on that list and my old LW Commander is just sitting here anxiously awaiting its day.

I love how all the LTW smiths can do any type of project yet each excell in their own area...

That's beautiful, of course. Can you talk about the barrel/bushing setup a little? Looks like there's some stuff going on there I've never seen.

looks like an EGW bushing & monogramed spring plug and a thread protector over the exposed threads of the threaded barrel.
